About Lily

My Commitment to Lake County

I was born, raised and plan to stay in Kelseyville.  I have pursued
education, work and volunteer service abroad, but this unique place
always brings me home. My experience brings a dedication to addressing
Lake County’s continuing economic, health and infrastructure
challenges.  Restoring rainforest ecosystems in Guyana taught me that
the conservation of our natural resources are key for prosperity.
Working at Lake County Tribal Health and at Social Services as a
community advocate gave me commitment to fight for our struggling
neighbors. Owning a small grocery store in Mexico gave me passion for
preserving our small, family-owned businesses. The community spirit
forged in the trauma of Lake County’s fires has strengthened my
resolve towards prevention and abatement. Finally, teaching ESL and
Spanish at both community colleges and at Kelseyville High School
allows me the privilege to work with those who serve as the backbone
of our communities and agricultural economy. I honor the perspective
and input of all in order to improve the lives of many.  As an
educator with two Master’s degrees, I will make informed decisions
that improve collaboration between Lake County’s government,
organizations and the community to pursue prosperity.

Thank you all that have agreed to endorse me or have stated that they want to endorse me.  It is a honor! Honestly, I have not actively been asking for endorsements because I consider all those who vote for me as an endorsement. I am also particularly pleased that this is a non-partisan election, and I  plan to represent all. Thank you.
